Do you have any other sources @Repworld or is that just speculations based on the new movement?   w0rn , Feb 24, 2017 #12 thedoors55 Well-Known Member     Joined: Jun 28, 2016 Messages: 363 Post Ratings: +24 w0rn said: ↑ The only thing that is said in Angus V6f thread about the upcoming new Nautilus is that they have an new 3,3 mm thick movement they will use, can't seem to see anything about same as gen thickness. Well mitoya 9015 which is used in most 5711 reps, is 3.9mm thick (not counting a2824 mkf has it is a thicker movement) and Angus has advertised a new 3.3mm movement. Technically you should expect a model around .6mm thinner. That being said, having gen thickness is probably just a dream due to deco plates. Here are the 2 possibilities: -3.3mm + deco plates (thickness between BP V1 and V2-3-4/MKF V4) or same as V1 -3.3mm no deco plates (thinner than BP V1) This is purely based on Angus statement and basic maths. Nothing as been confirmed. That is what I thought myself that it would be hard, only on basis of an 3.3 mm thick movement, to reach gen thickness of the watch, if it would have deco plates. That is why I asked if there where any other sources or info to the statement of thickness as gen. We just have to wait and see then what V6F release of their new Nautlus will have regarding thickness and the impact of the new movement will be.   w0rn , Feb 24, 2017 #14 rcom440 Well-Known Member   Joined: Nov 10, 2012 Messages: 1,715 Post Ratings: +51 They should drop deco plates and just make it gen thin. I can't wait to see what they come up with. It should be out around April.   rcom440 , Feb 24, 2017 #15 raizer Well-Known Member   Joined: Feb 11, 2015 Messages: 65 Location: Australia Post Ratings: +0 rcom440 said: ↑ They should drop deco plates and just make it gen thin. I don't really care about the movement, what I do care about is the thickness.   raizer , Feb 25, 2017 #16 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.)
